Our dancer, Suhasini Muthukrishnan, arrived the night before ready to dance. The next morning the film crew met at the Sri Siva Vishnu Temple in Lanham, MD to set up equipment. As our van wound its way up the curving roads of Cottonwood Canyon in Utah, our crew marveled at the outstanding natural beauty of the Wasatch National Forest. Snugged away inside the park, we found the Storm Mountain Amphitheater, where we met the Tablado flamenco dancers. Led by Solange Gomes, and with the help of her husband Ricardo and son, Daniel, the dancers of Tablado brought three other dancers.

Our first port of call on our Midwest portion of the filming was Wisconsin, where we traveled to the independent nation of Oneida. Here, we were met by representatives of several Native American tribes--Ojibway, Menominee, Oneida--to create a special dance for the film.
